Tedy Bruschi Says Bye After 13 YearsTedy Bruschi said good bye yesterday to the football fields after having spent 13 years playing for the New England Patriots in NFL betting. With the Patriots, Bruschi won a total of three Super Bowl rings.

“I’m 36 years old,” he said at a press conference beside Coach Bill Belichick and Robert Kraft, the franchise owner. “Your body doesn’t heal as quickly.”

The Filipino-Italian placer suffered a mild stroke in 2005 and only eight months later was cleared healthy and returned to play for the 2005 regular season after having announced he would sit it out from NFL betting. He was awarded the NFL Comeback Player of the Year Award.

“I was retired,” he added. “I didn’t think it was possible” to play again. Read more…

The Williams Sisters Want In On the Dolphins

The-Williams-Sisters-Want-IThe sisters and tennis stars Venus and Serena Williams began negotiations to become the partial owners of the professional NFL betting team, the Miami Dolphins.

“There have been preliminary talks, and hopefully it’ll work out”, said Serena Williams after her victory in the second round in the tennis tournament.

If the Williams sisters manage to acquire a partnership role in the Miami Dolphins they will be alongside musicians like Jimmy Buffett, Marc Anthony, Gloria and Emilio Estefan, who this very year will become minority share owners in the NFL betting team. Own-The-MomentThe NFL’s new slogan for this 90th season will be “Own the Moment”, and along with the opening game on September 10th will come a pregame show by the Black Eyed Peas, followed by kickoff for the game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Tennessee Titans.

As is already customary for any NFL wagering season, show, music, and Entertainment will be an important part of the most anticipated and appreciated sport in the American public. The Best Paid Player in the NFL

eli-manningEli Manning renewed his contract for 6 more years and $97 million more. The quarterback from the New York Giants is now officially the single highest paid player in the NFL with an annual salary of $15.3 million. $35 million of those are guaranteed in an agreement that will keep him with the Giants until 2015.

Manning led the Giants as they surprised the world in Super Bowl XLII against the New England Patriots back in February of 2008.

Until they won that Super Bowl title, Eli was considered the “little brother.” Now, he sits atop the salary rankings, surpassing the Oakland Raider cornerback Nnamdi Asomug who has an average annual salary of $15.1 million. He also left his brother Peyton Manning in the dust. Read more…
