Dolphins Looking for Different Result on 2nd Monday Game

The Miami Dolphins are a better team than their 1-3 record indicates and have generally played well in Monday Night Football betting. The team lost one of the weirdest games in memory several weeks ago in their last Monday Night Football betting match when, despite controlling the ball for 45 minutes, failed to get the W. The Fins would love to avenge that loss but against a surging Jets team it won’t be easy.

This Monday Night Football odds match up will be more than just two teams playing on national TV, it will also be a battle for AFC East positioning. The Dolphins must get a win while to keep pace with the division leading Jets.

Miami has had a rough start partly because of some bad luck and partly because it doesn’t have much talent on the offense. No team gets more out of its game than the Dolphins and if this squad doesn’t play near perfect ball, it will lose.

Rex Ryan will blitz the daylights out of first-year starter QB Chad Henne and if he turns the ball over Miami has no chance. But expect Miami to rely heavily on the running game with studs Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams controlling the defense. The Dolphins have the best running game in the NFL right now and must take some of the pressure off Henne in this Monday night football odds contest.

Rookie Jets QB Mark Sanchez is coming off the worst start of his brief career and will likely come out throwing. The Dolphins have the worst pass defense in the league (238 ypg) and have to rookie CBs in the secondary.

The Jets are favored in the Monday Night Football betting odds by 2½ points and seem to be the better team. Nonetheless if the Dolphins play turnover free football they’ll win the game.
