Broncos Made Another Strong Case in Monday Night Win
All the Denver Broncos have done this season is win, and in this past Monday Night Football betting nothing’s changed. They have gone 6-0 to start the season and beaten every challenger thrown their way. They have won at home, on the road, against good teams, against bad teams and yet, still, there is lingering doubt about this team.
However, the team’s Monday Night Football betting win against their bitter rival the San Diego Chargers on the road went a long way in erasing these doubts. The Chargers have dominated this matchup in recent years and desperately needed a win. It was hardly a favorable environment for a Broncos win and many of the football pundits had already written Denver off.
And just like most people expected the Broncos didn’t play all that well. But they still managed to escape the Monday Night Football odds contest with a win thanks to outstanding special teams play which resulted in a punt and a kickoff returned for TDs by Eddie Royal.
In the second half when the team needed points the most QB Kyle Orton delivered again, the same as he’s done all year long. And as a result the team that everyone predicted to be one of the laughingstocks of the league remains one of the few perfect teams left.
The team’s defense was tested against the passing attack of Phil Rivers and the Bolts but passed with flying colors while also completely shutting down LT and the running game.
The thing about this Broncos team is that it doesn’t dominate its opponents. And that’s likely why there are still many question marks surrounding this team. But one thing you can’t dispute is the fact that this team wins close games and that’s the sign of an excellent football club.
