Cardinals at Niners

TCardinals at Ninershis is a much bigger Monday Night Football betting game than many people are aware of.  In fact, this may be the more important games of the week in terms of deciding a division title.  The Cardinals (8-4) are currently in first place in the NFC West with a healthy three-game lead over the Niners (5-7).  But a San Fran win here put a whole complexion on this division race.

True, three games is a stout lead, especially with less than a month of football left to play and the odds of the Niners winning are not the healthiest.  But if the home team can win this Monday Night football betting matchup things would get very interesting in the NFC West.

Packers and the Super Bowl

Packers and the Super BowlIt’s hard to know just how good the Baltimore Ravens are.  This team has been up and down all season but not matter how you rate this team you can’t help but be impressed with how the Green Bay Packers handled them on Monday Night football betting.

On paper that could have been a very even matchup.  Baltimore with its stout defense, effective running game and emerging offense was expected to put up a solid fight against the Pack Attack.  But it’s didn’t play out that way in the Monday Night football betting.

It may not be sexy but it’s important: Ravens at Packers

It may not be sexy but it’s important Ravens at PackersThere have been a lot sexier matchups on Monday Night football betting this season and this week’s contest won’t draw near the viewers as the week 12 showdown between the Saints and Pats. But when the Green Bay Packers host the Baltimore Ravens in week 13 it will be the most important of Monday Night game of the year to date.

This wild card desperation at its finest and both teams desperately need to win to ensure that their hopes of making the playoffs are not dashed. Green Bay (7-4) must win to keep pace with the New York Giants and maintain their claim to the second wild card berth.  Baltimore’s (6-5) situation is even more dire and must win this Monday Night football odds contest simply to remain within one game of the second wild card berth.

Week 13 Monday Night match up could have big Playoff impactDecember is upon us and that means that wins and losses now carry much more weight than during the first few months of the NFL season.  Up ‘til now the Monday Night football betting matchups have been interesting and exciting but of little consequence.

But things are different now and the upcoming Monday Night football odds contest between the Green Bay Packers and the Baltimore Ravens should not only be a helluva game but it’s going to have a very meaningful impact on the playoff picture in both conferences.

Right now in the AFC the Ravens (6-5) are the possessors of the second wildcard by virtue of their head-to-head win over the Pittsburgh Steelers.  If they lose on Monday they’ll most likely lose their lead in this tight wild card race.   Read more…

There remains no doubt, Saints are the league’s best

There remains no doubt, Saints are the league’s bestFor anyone hoping to see a good game in the latest so-called ‘game of the year’ on Monday night between the Saints and Pats, you were sorely disappointed.  For anyone not sure who the best team in the NFL is you’re doubts were put to rest.  And for any NFL team out there trying to prevent the Saints from having a perfect season, good luck.  You’ll need it.

Never in recent memory in such a hyped Monday Night football betting matchup between two of the league’s best has one team so thoroughly dominated the other.  And it wasn’t as if the Pats beat themselves.  As a team, New England was relatively error-free. It was simply that the Saints were so dominant.
