Broncos Prove Themselves Once Again in Win over ChargersFor all the Denver-haters out there (if there still are any), Monday Night Football betting featured a tough win on the road over the Chargers –a team that has dominated them over the past few years- should serve final notice that this Broncos squad is the real deal.

No team has exceeded expectations more this season than the over achieving Broncos and the most recent win in Monday Night Football betting to run the team’s record to a perfect 6-0 was further proof that rookie head coach and his staff know what they’re doing.

The final Monday Night Football odds score of 24-33 is indicative of just how wide the gulf is between these two AFC West teams and the final nail in the coffin containing the Chargers playoff hopes. Read more…

AFC West Royal Rumble Next on Monday Night

October 16th, 2009 Michael Scott No comments

AFC West Royal Rumble Next on Monday NightMonday Night football betting might be one of the best things ever to happen to a Monday.  The worst day of the week by far has few redeeming qualities for eight months out of the year, but when the NFL season rolls around this rotten day is elevated to king status when it hosts the Monday Night football betting.

So far, there has been some very interesting Monday Night football betting matchups and none may have been more enticing than last week’s Jets-Dolphins thriller. Week six promises some exciting intra-division action as well when the Broncos go on the road in what will very likely be their biggest challenge of the year. Read more…

Many Interesting Angles in the AFC East Monday Match Up

Many Interesting Angles in the AFC East Monday Match UpMonday Night football betting will feature the Jets who are the early leaders of the AFC East, a division that hasn’t proven quite as competitive as it seemed on paper during the preseason.

With only two teams with winning records (Jets and Pats) it’s hardly the marquee division that some thought it might be. The Bills and Dolphins (Both 1-3) still have time to make things interesting and it could start on Monday Night Football betting when the Jets fly down to South Florida for a divisional date.

The Jets have been very impressive out of the gate and will look to make a statement in this week’s Monday Night Football odds.

Brash rookie head coach Rex Ryan hasn’t backed down from a challenge all year, in fact he’s welcomed them. We might even expect him to get in a fist fight with Dolphins LB Channing Crowder at midfield. Read more…

Keys to the Cowboys and Panthers Monday Night Duel

September 25th, 2009 Michael Scott No comments

Keys to the Cowboys and Panthers Monday Night Duel.jpgOn the upcoming Monday Night odds, the Panthers may be the worst team in the NFL.  Sure, there are some really awful teams out there (Detroit) but with Jake DelHomme handing out INTs like Halloween candy this team is its own worst enemy.  They’ll have a tough time getting in the win column against the Cowboys, but it’s not impossible.

Delhomme has managed to cut his INT rate down to just 2.5 a game and he can go the entire game on Monday Night without turning the ball over that would be a great benefit for his team.  And if he gets the passing game going the Panthers should be able to run the ball as well.

They have one of the best RB tandems in the NFL but the Dallas defensive front did a tremendous job shutting down the Giants vaunted running game last week.  Should be interesting from that perspective and as always the battle in the trenches will be key in this Monday Night Football betting matchup.
